As you know I love to ride my bike.  I am passionate about helping the Amy Gillett Foundation create a safer environment for all bicycle riders and help improve traffic flow for all road users.  Did you know that 48 people were killed in 2013 and  9,307 bike riders were seriously injured in Australia?

I am taking part in the fundraising challenge leading up to the Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo event on 11 September to help the AGF raise at least $100,000 to invest in educational program initiatives to create a safer environment for riding.

I am aiming to separate you from your hard earned cash. Donate or else( at the moment don't know what what else means but it sounds good) I cannot do this with you.

Any contribution you can make will help the AGF achieve its vision of zero bike rider fatalities.

In continuation to ther above, I'm running a rasffle with great prizes donated by supportive local busines, "guess the number of bearings" in both local bike shops and on Saturday 27th Aug at the Royal Geoge Hotel Piper st Kyneton a trivia/fun night will also be held. The raffle and the winner of the bearing guess will be announced. If you can come  email me on ubonvet@gmail.com by 24th August. Make sure you bring plenty of gold coins.

What a night. Managed to raise $310.40 on the night. great fun was had by all but the concensus was that the questions posed were challenging to say the leasy. Of the 60 questions asked the winning team managed to get 39 correct. When i was compiling them my estimation was that, taking the demographics, the particpanrts could have at least answers 45-50. How wrong can one be. Tossing the coin and heads and tails were well received. Toss the coin required 5 rounds before a winner was determined while heads and tais onllt required 4. Thanks to all who attended and to the sponsiors who supplied the prises.
